PCSNJ Medicare Educational Seminar Was a Success

Emil Rotaeche

On Saturday, July 15th, PCSNJ's education committee conducted a seminar focused on Medicare.  This is an important topic most especially for those who are approaching 65 years old - the age when one becomes eligible.  It is equally important for those who have already reached this age and are currently participating in the program.

John Egger spoke to the members and gave his insights into the ins and outs of Medicare.  John is a subject matter expert who works in the industry as a Medicare insurance broker and has many years of experience.  This is a complicated topic especially for those who are new to it and John certainly did a nice job of explaining its many benefits and limitations.  Furthermore, he was able to answer several questions from the audience on their specific scenarios.  There were approximately 30 members who attended the educational seminar.

After the seminar completed, a door prize donated by ArlyeneRamos was raffled off to a lucky attendee.  Then food and refreshments were served and comingling began amongst the attendees.

The education committee is always on the lookout for interesting topics for future seminars.  If there are things you want to learn more about, please send us a message with any topic suggestions. This way the education committee can work on them for future seminars.
